A few minutes’ drive south of Swansea, you’ll discover Spiky Bridge, built by convicts in 1843 without any mortar or cement – hence the upright stones and the spiky looking appearance.
On the opposite side of the Tasman Highway, you’ll find the turnoff to Spiky Beach, a delightful little beach known for its rockpools and a perfect spot for some quiet contemplation.
